Loko Loko
These are the pages I made for a short-lived webcomic called "Loko Loko". I wasn't able to complete it due to personal circumstances at the time. I'm still pretty fond of the character though. Materials used: Pencil, Pentel brushpen, Micron fineliners and Promarkers. Apologies for the picture quality of the colored version, I seem to have misplaced this drawing and this was the only picture I had left.

Albert Fish
A portrait of childmurderer and cannibal Albert Fish. I'm very satisfied with the drawing itself but I hesitate to draw this man again. He truly was despicable and evil incarnate and I can only recommend reading up on him if you're sure your stomach can handle it. This portrait was made on an A4 sheet of paper using a soft pencil.

Smugglers
This is the first page of a short story about a gang of smugglers carrying a mysterious cargo. Sadly, other projects demanded my attention and it never got finishen. My very first blogpost!
Dear reader, Let's start by introducing myself. I am N, a dutch cartoonist and comic artist, currently living in a town called IJmuiden in the province of Noord-holland. My intent is to use this blog as an online portfolio and as a way to show my art to anyone interested. My main inspirations are american artists like Robert Crumb and Art Spiegelman, their dutch colleague Peter Pontiac and the famous japanese master of horror Junji Ito.
